Job Summary
Automation QA Engineer in an R&D team building and producing tech solutions for real-world field deployments. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and expanding automated tests for Web UI, Mobile, and REST API components; automating Web UI tests with Selenium; automating mobile tests with Appium for Android and/or iOS; building automated tests for REST APIs using JavaScript or Python; converting manual test cases into robust automated tests; creating and optimizing test suites for regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing; configuring and maintaining automated tests in CI/CD pipelines. Required: 3+ years in automation QA; experience automating manual tests; Web UI automation with Selenium; Mobile automation with Appium; REST API test automation (JavaScript/Python); Linux proficiency; Git; familiarity with QA frameworks and reusable components, test data management, test reporting, tagging, and parallel execution; strong reliability and transparency; relocation support; 24 vacation days plus holidays; flexible schedule with up to 10 remote days per year; office in Lviv, Ukraine; health insurance after probation; training compensation; access to corporate library; relocation assistance for candidates from other cities or countries.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Automation QA
- Experience automating manual test cases into automated tests
- Automation of Web UI testing using Selenium
- Automation of mobile testing using Appium (Android and/or iOS)
- REST API testing automation (JavaScript/Python)
- CI/CD integration (Bash scripting)
- Linux user-level proficiency
- Experience with test frameworks and automation approaches (reusable components, test data management, reporting, tagging, parallel execution)
- Knowledge of DOM, locators, waits, Page Object pattern
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Ability to create and maintain automated test suites for regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
- Flexibility with remote/hybrid work setup and collaboration in a development environment
- Experience with test automation in web and mobile domains
- Experience with debugging UI stability issues
