Job Summary
Senior Automation QA focused on building and maintaining a BDD-driven automation framework (Cucumber) using Java, Selenium, and TestNG. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, translating requirements into Gherkin scenarios, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, analyzing results, collaborating with BAs, Devs, and QA teams, and contributing to ongoing framework improvements in an Agile environment. Required skills include Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG, CI/CD tools, SQL basics, and experience with QA tooling (JIRA/ALM/Xray). Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Automation Testing
- Strong programming knowledge in Java
- Hands-on experience with BDD Frameworks (Cucumber)
- Experience with TestNG
- Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC methodologies
- Experience with test scenario design, execution, and defect tracking
- Exposure to tools such as JIRA, ALM, Xray or similar
- Basic knowledge of SQL / database validation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
