Job Summary
Automation Operations Lead responsible for administering, supporting, optimizing, and driving continuous improvement of the client’s enterprise monitoring and infrastructure automation environment. Primary owner of the Nagios XI Enterprise Monitoring platform, with exposure to Nagios Core and Zenoss, overseeing on-premises data centers, virtualized infrastructure, and secure cloud tenants in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. Hands-on technical leadership with deep experience across Linux/Windows/Unix, scripting (Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell), REST APIs, SQL, JSON, YAML, and related tools; proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and cloud engineering practices. Focus areas include ITSM alerting coordination, infrastructure visibility, and cross-team collaboration to ensure reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in cloud operations or DevOps leadership
- 7+ years of experience with AWS and Azure
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Experience in incident management, production operations, and service reliability
- Experience in leading enterprise-scale cloud engineering teams
- Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
