Automation Lead (Python, Selenium, Grafana)

Job Summary
Design and develop automation frameworks for security processes and tools, building reusable components to accelerate initiatives. Automate dashboards, alerts, and reporting using Grafana for security monitoring, while developing robust Python scripts for process automation and integration. Collaborate with security engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify opportunities, optimize existing workflows for performance, and ensure solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. Provide technical leadership and mentor team members on automation standards. Requires 6–8 years of experience with 3+ in the security domain, proficiency in Python and Grafana, and strong communication skills. Located in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in automation development, with at least 3+ years in the security domain
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and framework development
- Hands-on experience with Grafana for dashboard automation and visualization
- Solid understanding of security principles and processes (IAM, monitoring, compliance)
- Experience in designing modular and scalable automation frameworks
- Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and integration patterns
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Exposure to SIEM/SOAR platforms and security orchestration
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are a plus
