Job Summary
Lead ITOT automation across pharma manufacturing sites, owning end-to-end DCS/PLC systems across multiple production areas, ensuring system reliability, GMP/HSE compliance, and lifecycle management; drive automation projects (CapEx/OpEx), coordinate internal/external resources, and develop a high-performing automation team while partnering with ITOT, production, QA and global stakeholders to enable digitalization and continuous improvement at site level.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in automation (DCS/PLC)
- 3+ years experience leading teams
- Strong automation project management experience
- Strong technical expertise in automation systems in ITOT environments
- Strong understanding of system lifecycle management, qualification and validation
- Demonstrated leadership experience in technical teams and cross-functional organizations
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and stakeholder management
- Strong expertise in DCS and/or PLC-based automation systems (Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS 7 or equivalent)
- PLC Engineering & Industrial Automation – PLC programming, troubleshooting, lifecycle management in manufacturing environments
- Automation Project Management – leading automation projects, system upgrades, and technical implementations
- Technical Leadership & People Management – leading technical teams and talent development
