Job Summary
Automation Engineering Lead to drive architecture, standards, and advanced development for a global automation portfolio. Lead a crew of 6-10 developers, guide technical strategy, conduct research spikes, and ensure scalable, maintainable automation solutions built on a modern Power Platform/D365/Dataverse stack. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining RPA bots (UiPath, Power Automate Desktop), incident management with RCA, Power Platform support, troubleshooting, environment governance, data integrity with SQL/FetchXML/Dataverse queries, dependency management, deployment/upgrades, comprehensive documentation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with business users, QA, and infrastructure teams. The role supports a hybrid work model (in-office days ~4 per week) and is based in Chennai, India.
Required Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform and D365/Dataverse experience
- RPA experience (UiPath, Power Automate Desktop)
- PL-500: Microsoft Certified Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (or equivalent)
- PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate
- ITSM/ITIL credentials and/or equivalent (Agile/Scrum/Lean Enterprise)
- Experience leading a team of developers (6-10)
- Strong incident management, RCA, and governance skills
- SQL/Dataverse API experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
