Job Summary
Automation Equipment Development Engineer responsible for the development and standardization of new manufacturing equipment and processes (equipment automation) for ContiTech products worldwide. Tasks include design of machines, workplace and workflow into BoB material flow, and implementation of improvements to KPIs such as unit labor costs, cycle time, process capability, quality, scrap rate, ergonomics, and energy and consumables consumption. Align with best practices, perform value engineering (TCO and value for money), ensure advanced quality planning and quality assurance during development, and manage cross-disciplinary projects. Requires experience in industrial/process engineering (rubber or machinery), a strong interest in developing production technology, ability to analyze and present KPI data, and travel willingness. English fluency and strong organizational/analytical skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
