Job Summary
Automation Engineer to lead the design, evaluation, and deployment of advanced automation solutions across the logistics network to improve system reliability, reduce operational costs, and extend machine longevity. Responsibilities include technology scouting, vendor evaluation, system design and CAD layout, breakdown RCA, cost optimization, machine longevity improvements, prototype and testing, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, product, and software teams. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering; 3–7 years of experience in automation warehouse design, robotics, or material handling; strong AutoCAD, conveyors, and cross belt sorters proficiency; and an analytical, hands-on troubleshooting mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
- 3–7 years of experience in automation warehouse design, robotics, or material handling systems
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, conveyors & Cross belt sorters
- Analytical, cost-conscious, and design-oriented mindset with hands-on troubleshooting skills
