Job Summary
Automation Engineer responsible for designing and developing control systems and software for cement manufacturing. Implement and optimize automation processes, maintain Siemens PLC/HMI systems, and troubleshoot control networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet). Develop and modify ladder logic and HMI screens, maintain plant computer networks, and create maintenance schedules for hardware/software. Maintain detailed repair/modification records, coordinate with suppliers/contractors/engineering teams, and provide on-call support. Assist in plant automation projects and process optimization, and update drawings using AutoCAD as needed. Requires BS in Electrical/Automation Engineering and 3 years of experience with strong HMI/PLC/instrumentation skills; familiarity with electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings; able to operate data acquisition/analysis software.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation engineering or related technical field required
- 3 years of experience in the electrical or process control environment
- Strong HMI, PLC and instrumentation background
- Competency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and P&ID drawings
