Job Summary
Develop, program, maintain, and support Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems. Design and update electrical schematics and diagrams, collaborate with maintenance teams to implement migration paths for obsolete controls ensuring NEC, IEEE, and NEMA compliance, and troubleshoot electrical/electronic infrastructure with root cause analysis. Work with AC/DC motors and power distribution systems while researching new technologies to modernize industrial electrical, control, and robotic systems. Spend time on the facility floor to understand site infrastructure and processes, supporting project development and execution plans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Manufacturing Plant Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 requirements
- Proven project leadership experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or higher) in Engineering
- Preferably Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineer
- From an accredited institution
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLC programming
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, other various platforms
- Must reside in area or be willing to commute
- Authorized to work in (country) without the need for employment visa sponsorship
