Job Summary
Automation Engineer (Officer) responsible for designing, developing, and scaling automated test frameworks and regression suites to validate business requirements across products and services. Hands-on testing across UI and API layers using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent; programming in Java/C#/JavaScript/Python; building and integrating CI/CD pipelines for automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests; testing REST APIs, microservices, Azure Functions, and serverless workflows; performing initial cloud-environment troubleshooting and SQL validation; mentoring junior QA engineers and driving QA process improvements with a focus on end-to-end quality in an Agile Scrum environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software QA with strong emphasis on test automation
- Hands-on contributor with UI and API automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Java, strong manual testing fundamentals and test design methodologies
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
- Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and defect analysis
