Job Summary
Lead automation strategy for the manufacturing plant to improve efficiency and productivity. Install, support, and coordinate the deployment of automatic material handling systems, robots, COBOTS, and AGV/AMR systems to streamline logistics. Leverage artificial intelligence for automation sustainability and ensure all processes comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Oversee equipment planning, development, implementation, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime while mentoring the automation team. Develop systems for product reporting and record keeping, selecting personnel to ensure efficient function operation.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2 - 8 years of proven experience in Engineering Projects, Plant automation, Maintenance preferably in the electronics component or automotive industry
- Experience in deploying and maintaining AGV/AMR systems
- Strong people management abilities, with a history of guiding and nurturing high-performing teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to successfully implement automation solutions
- Strong communication and cooperation skills, with a proactive approach to project management
