Job Summary
Provide application-level technical support for servo drives, motors, PLC systems, HMIs, and motion control solutions, assisting customers in machine commissioning, tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization. Deliver in-depth technical onboarding and training for strategic OEM/ODM and joint development customers, while enabling distributor technical teams through product feature training and pre-sales support. Conduct on-site technical support for machine builders and end users, including fault diagnosis, pilot project support, and acceptance tests, submitting detailed technical reports post-service. Collaborate closely with sales teams for bid support and customer demos, coordinate with global headquarters engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues, and provide structured feedback on product performance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of hands-on experience in motion control and PLC programming. Fluent in English and Mandarin is highly preferred. Willing to travel frequently within the United States and occasionally to global headquarters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in motion control, servo systems, PLC programming, or machine commissioning
- Proficiency in industrial control systems including servo drives/motors, PLCs, HMIs, fieldbuses (EtherCAT, CANopen), and automation software tools
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on debugging experience
- Capability to clearly explain technical concepts to engineers, distributors, and end users
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel frequently within the United States
- Ability to work independently in a fast-growing overseas organization
- Ability to document technical issues clearly
