Job Summary
Automation Engineer for UK Centre of Excellence to deliver on-site automation installations for project testing from requirements capture through design, installation, commissioning, test programme delivery and service support. Role includes identifying process and tool improvements, liaising with cross-functional teams and customers, performing factory acceptance testing, and maintaining adherence to company standards. Requires a degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, and the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) and UK Eyes Only Clearance. Five-day on-site work week in Leicester, UK, with hands-on and office-based activities and exposure to industrial control systems and automation technologies such as PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and multiple industrial protocols. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, plus capability to work within multi-disciplinary teams and manage project delivery lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Existing or ability to obtain UK Security Clearance including SC Clearance and UK Eyes Only Clearance
- Ability to work onsite five days per week
