Job Summary
Design and develop application and control systems for projects ranging from concept through commissioning. Define architecture requirements, create software design specifications, and program PLC and SCADA applications. Modify system logic using ladder logic, structured text, or function block, and configure process-based historian databases. Troubleshoot existing control systems, tune control loops, and provide startup and commissioning services. Develop proficiency in control device networks and interact with customers to define scope and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Engineering fields
- 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education
- Experience reading and interpreting control system electrical design packages
- Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems and an understanding of process controls
- Rockwell experience with products such as: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPax, Factory Talk Software Suite, Studio 5000, PLC5, SLC500, RSView, PanelView Plus, etc.
- Working knowledge of control system networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork
