Job Summary
Build end-to-end automation solutions including integrations, data pipelines, and workflow scripts across the business. Partner with stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, exercising judgment on when to apply AI tools like RAG pipelines and LLM integrations versus traditional scripting. Own data movement between systems, SharePoint, and SQL, ensuring ingestion, transformation, and downstream freshness. Stand up and maintain containerized services on Azure, including self-hosted vector storage components. Collaborate with the C# and Angular dev team on feature work, bug fixes, and code reviews while prototyping ideas before full builds. Absorb knowledge from specialized consultants to reduce future engagement spend.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a backend developer
- 3-7 years of full-time full-stack development experience
- 3+ years building system integrations, data integrations or APIs for critical business systems
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python or Node.js
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve integration-related issues
- Experience deploying applications via Docker
- Strong grasp of version control and basic CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to monitor system health and troubleshoot script failures in production
- This position can be fully remote, but must be in the Eastern or Central Time zone
- This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field is a plus
- C#, .NET, Python preferred
- Familiarity with RAG concepts, chunking strategies, embedding, vector search
- Familiarity with a vector database such as Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate or similar
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Airflow, etc.) and Redis for caching, lightweight queues, and workflow state
- Familiarity with maintaining cloud-based environments (Azure preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
