Job Summary
The Automation Engineer will serve as the on-site lead for a satellite subsystem at a high-volume assembly line, focusing on the full lifecycle of flight hardware and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE). Responsibilities include creating and testing machine learning models, implementing AI solutions, managing data for model training, improving AI system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace or automotive sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, data science or a related technical field
- A minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or automotive industries
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- Deep understanding of machine learning (ML)
- Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Spanish language skills
