Job Summary
Design and develop automation scripts and frameworks to streamline workflows, systems, and processes for a French optical client. Collaborate with business analysts and IT teams to identify automation opportunities, integrate solutions with existing tools and databases, and ensure seamless cross-departmental integration. Conduct rigorous testing and validation to meet performance and security standards, while monitoring systems to proactively resolve issues and maintain continuous functionality. Maintain clear documentation for scripts and processes, and review operations to optimize for efficiency, scalability, and performance. This role requires a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in Alabang, 2 days WFH) and 5+ years of automation experience. Directio supports global digital transformation for FMCG, retail, and SaaS clients.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in automation development, application support, IT operations, process improvement, or related technical delivery roles
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH)
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts, workflows, or frameworks that streamline operational processes
- Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, VBA, C#, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with API integration, data extraction, data transformation, databases, SharePoint Lists, Dataverse, or other enterprise systems used for automation and reporting
- Ability to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, document requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Strong understanding of testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of automation solutions
- Experience in creating technical documentation, workflow diagrams, user guides, and support materials for developed automation solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple automation initiatives in a fast-paced technical environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with business users, stakeholders, developers, DevOps, QA, and IT support teams
- Solid understanding of IT operations, service management, incident/change processes, and ticketing systems
- Willingness to work on the assigned shift schedule and provide support during critical business or operational needs when required
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or any related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with automation and low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, AI Builder, UiPath, or similar tools
- experience with HDA or similar ITSM tools
- Knowledge or exposure to AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, machine learning concepts, or AI-enabled workflow automation
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, project delivery, or continuous improvement initiatives
