Job Summary
Lead automation and industrial projects by conducting feasibility studies, defining technical requirements, and ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency. Manage engineering design and system integration activities while maintaining compliance with standards and project governance throughout the lifecycle. Drive innovation through cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to implement advanced automation technologies and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Automation or related engineering fields, 2-8 years of experience, and proficiency in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks. Based in Thailand, the position offers career progression into technical expert or quality leadership roles within Michelin's Engineering Team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related fields
- 2 - 8 years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, automation project engineering, or manufacturing automation
- Good understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial networks, instrumentation, and control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with international stakeholders
- Business proficiency in Thai and English
- Strong learning mindset and willingness to develop new technical expertise
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in Industry 4.0, AI applications, digital engineering, and smart manufacturing technologies
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools
