Job Summary
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and design solutions using Power Automate, Python, or RPA platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, monitor automated processes, and build data pipelines for improved efficiency. Collect and analyze large datasets to develop dashboards, translate complex data into actionable insights, and perform root cause analysis for continuous improvement. Ensure data accuracy, support governance practices, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders while providing training on implemented tools. Work closely with business units to understand requirements and uphold all safety regulations and quality system compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science base program or business administration
- Ability to travel (All US States & International), up to 75% of time
- Office location at Moses Lake, WA, Milwaukie, OR, remote upon approval. Demonstrated ability to work remotely effectively with no impact to results
- Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations
- Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required
Desired Qualifications
- high preference for a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years managing complex technical teams
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in data analysis, automation, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or R)
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with automation platforms (Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, etc.)
- Knowledge of databases, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies
- Experience in scripting or programming for automation (Python, VBA)
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems in manufacturing environments
