Job Summary
Install conduit, low-voltage wiring, and BAS control components while mounting, wiring, labeling, and terminating sensors, relays, and actuators. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to assist with system startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and owner training. Prepare as-built documentation and coordinate work with other trades through project meetings. Maintain required Connecticut E2 or L6 licenses and certifications while following all safety policies and using required PPE. Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members to work independently and collaboratively on projects. This role requires overtime, varied shifts, and occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Connecticut E2 or L6 License
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces
- Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to safely perform physical work while using required personal protective equipment
- Work overtime, varied shifts, and travel occasionally as needed
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical school certificate
- 2–5 years of BAS, controls, or electrical installation experience
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
