Automation Controls Specialist I responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Building Automation Systems (BAS) for facility HVAC, lighting, and energy management to optimize comfort and energy use across DOS facilities. Key duties include BAS component installation, calibration, maintenance, issue resolution, performance analysis, and providing manufacturer-specific expertise with relevant certifications. Collaborates with other trades and departments to optimize system integration, maintains system documentation and training records, and works across technical, office, and field environments. Requires secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and manufacturer-trained BAS certificates, with knowledge of HVAC, lighting, and energy management integration.
