Job Summary
Design, program, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems for manufacturing and process-industry customers. Lead and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLCs, FactoryTalk View SE/ME HMIs, Rockwell Kinetix motion control, Siemens TIA Portal PLC/HMI, and related automation components; manage projects from concept through startup; interface with customers to capture requirements, perform commissioning, and support field installations; develop functional specs, control narratives, and project documentation; collaborate with electrical designers, technicians, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of hands-on industrial automation programming experience
- Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong programming expertise with Allen-Bradley Logix PLC platforms and FactoryTalk View
- Proficiency in configuring Rockwell Kinetix motion control and Siemens TIA Portal systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and control system documentation
- Experience with industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus
- Experience supporting steel, manufacturing, automotive, or process industries
- Ability to work self-motivated and within a team environment
