Job Summary
Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs, SCADA systems, and HMI applications across all Paradise Tomato Kitchens manufacturing facilities. Troubleshoot automation, instrumentation, and network issues while providing 24/7 technical support for operations at Los Banos, Crums Lane, and Brook Street sites. Standardize controls architecture, lead root cause analysis for recurring failures, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and productivity. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and external vendors to support capital projects, commissioning, and cybersecurity for operational technology infrastructure. Maintain comprehensive documentation including electrical schematics, P&IDs, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum of five (5) years of PLC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming
- Strong experience with Rockwell software platforms
- Experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with FactoryTalk View SE, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk Batch, Win-911, RSLinx, and historian systems
- Experience with industrial networking, instrumentation, and manufacturing data systems
- Experience within food manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
