Job Summary
Automation and Process Control Engineer to lead DCS configuration and design in Honeywell Experion and Fisher Provox, develop and implement control improvements, create operator-friendly HMI graphics, support capital projects and process control standards, and collaborate with IT/OT teams. Responsibilities include troubleshooting process control issues, implementing add-on automation enhancements (APC, alarm management, loop monitoring), ensuring control software/hardware are up-to-date, and training engineers on basic control and HMI configurations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of chemical process manufacturing or related experience
- Experience with Honeywell Experion or equivalent DCS environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in process control
- Ability to provide off-hours, on-call support
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal and external teams
