Job Summary
Lead the software design and development for custom automated assembly and test equipment from concept through customer acceptance. Design and implement PLC programs using Allen-Bradley PLCs, develop intuitive HMI interfaces with FactoryTalk and Ignition, integrate Fanuc robotics for complex automation tasks, and develop machine vision solutions with Cognex/Keyence for inspection and alignment. Lead system commissioning and support validation, final acceptance, and global deployment at customer facilities. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.S.E.) with a focus in Controls, Computer Control Systems, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Controls or Robotics Engineer in industrial environments
- Proficiency with Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000, HMI/GUI development (e.g., AB PanelView, Ignition) and industrial Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profinet
- Robotics programming experience with Fanuc, Denso, ABB; machine vision with Cognex/Keyence; knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes
- On-site, in-person work environment and collaboration with engineering and production teams
