Job Summary
Operate and troubleshoot the KPI automation system at the switch platform, manage data/workflow to complete assigned trucks, and perform preventative maintenance on the automated case pick system including conveyors, HCD, switch platform, and palletizers. Train others on safety and maintenance, coordinate with HCD operators and platform operators to prevent downtime, conduct root-cause analysis on asset failures, monitor data flow from the HCD to palletizers via the ignition software, perform routine edits to maintain case data, and assist with parts orders, service calls, and warranty information. Requires collaboration with KPI maintenance teams and vendors, strong troubleshooting and documentation skills, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams; must be able to start/stop production in the ignition software and handle varying priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, related military experience, or equivalent job experience
- Eligible applicants must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory MVR and background screening
- Applicant must also pass all required pre-employment drug screening
- 2-5 year's experience in at least three of the following areas: Software Development (logistics-related preferred), Controls Development (conveyor or similar equipment), AMR/AGV/SDV installation/configuration/service, Mechanical installation/integration on automation projects
- Client service and troubleshooting
- Facilities management
- Parts management
- Project Management
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- PC software and hardware literate
- Basic computer networking skills
- Ability to operate boom lift, scissor lift, and forklift
- Must be a self-starter, well organized, and able to work independently without on-site supervision
- Frequent contact with employees and management
- Frequent changes in activities and priorities
- Ability to lift, lower and carry objects up to 50 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
