Automation & Control Engineer

Automation & Controls Engineer role focusing on designing, programming, and maintaining automation and electrical control systems for manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and variable frequency drives to optimize production, engineering leadership to mentor junior electricians, planning and executing automation projects from start to finish, pursuing process improvements to reduce downtime, standardizing software/hardware architectures for automation projects, and shaping the technology roadmap for immediate and long-term growth. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to food safety and USDA guidelines, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative automation solutions. Relocation package is available. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of controls experience are required; experience with Rockwell and Siemens platforms and related hardware/software is highly valued.
