Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain IML robots, take-out robots, vision inspection systems, and auxiliary equipment for plastic container and lid production. Load and modify HMI programs to reduce defects and improve cycle time while performing preventative maintenance, sensor replacements, and robotic component rebuilding. Diagnose robot status via HMI messages, configure vision systems after label changes, and conduct start-up and mid-run inspections including red rabbit and barcode testing. Complete all required documentation, ensure shift handoff communication, and escalate quality or production concerns to management. Comply with food safety, HACCP, and cGMP processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of technical experience in a fast paced, high volume lean manufacturing environment
- Experience in injection molded plastics and/or food packaging industry
- Good PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Proven track record working with people and problem resolution
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration skills
- Strong mechanical ability
- Proven ability to root cause and determine permanent corrective actions
- General knowledge of In Mold Labeling (IML) and injection molding operations
- Must follow food safety and cGMP processes and procedures
- Must be able to lift heavy items
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods

Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Automation
