Job Summary
Automation Auto Electrician to maintain Plant and Mobile equipment, perform electrical repair and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, ensure maximum equipment availability, follow work instructions and PM schedules, conduct automation level setups, audits of protection barriers and network components, provide on-the-job training and coaching under the First Line Leader, and contribute to safer, cost-effective operations in the mining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Auto Electrical trade/ Mechanical trade/ Instrumentation/ IT
- knowledge of Sandvik UG Trackless Mining Equipment
- RCT cert. 4 minimum, cert 5 favoured
- Sandvik System Specialist Highly favoured
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience and Skills Requirements: Minimum of 2 years mobile maintenance experience
- Computer skills
- Exposure to automation within the underground environment
