Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer focused on process improvement and digitalisation in gas seal assembly and testing. Drives automation initiatives using Power Automate, Power BI, and other digital tools; leads Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen) and continuous improvement to increase OEE and RFT while reducing costs through process/layout improvements. Manages manufacturing and CapEx projects from concept to implementation, including budgeting and scheduling, and supports the introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies. Provides hands-on shop-floor support for assembly, test, and machining, monitors process controls, resolves bottlenecks, and conducts root-cause analysis. Leverages SAP for production support (routing changes, BOM updates) and builds KPI dashboards (OEE, downtime trends). Develops and maintains SOPs, work instructions, Visual Factory documentation, and PFMEA/Risk assessments for NPD and existing processes. Requires a STEM bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of industry experience preferred; CAD proficiency; VA/VE experience; strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to develop SOPs and PFMEA
  • Knowledge of value analysis/engineering (VA/VE)
