Job Summary
Set up, operate, and tend automatic press machines used to shape metal material, including starting equipment, monitoring operations, and recording data. Visually inspect completed parts to specifications, test and adjust machine speeds per standard operating procedures, and perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments. Report defects and operating difficulties to the supervisor, clean machines, and complete inspection paperwork while following safety policies, LOTO, and ISO standards. Work independently with attention to detail to recognize abnormalities and cross-train on other duties as assigned.
