Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain automatic doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products on location in commercial buildings, hospitals, and stores. Proactively assist in projects with autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment while ensuring a clean, organized worksite. Order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services. Requires an unrestricted driver's license, high school diploma, and experience with mechanical, electrical, or construction trades. Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required, along with yearly flu shots and TB tests.
Required Qualifications
- automatic door or similar experience
- good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- problem solving and diagnostic skills
- familiar with power and hand tools
- unrestricted and valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- high school diploma or GED
- comfortable using power tools and hand tools
- ability to stand, bend, and/or climb for long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment
- lift 75+ pounds
- work at heights/use a ladder
- Successful completion of a background check
- drug screen
- clean criminal record
- Yearly flu shots
