Job Summary
Automated Test Engineer responsible for leading/managing the development of robust automated test suites and collaborating with a cross-functional Agile team to validate functional enhancements and modernize authoring and dissemination tools. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality automated UI and API test scripts, with Cypress as a key tool, across modern web applications and RESTful services; leverage JavaScript/TypeScript, QA methodologies, and CI/CD practices in a government/commercial context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
- 15+ years of related experience
- Proven experience designing, writing, and maintaining automated tests using Cypress
- Security clearance TS/SCI w/Poly
- US citizenship required
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for test script development
- Experience testing RESTful microservices and APIs
- Understanding of QA methodologies and Agile processes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD)
- Familiarity with AWS
- Docker
- knowledge of government agency reporting and dissemination policies
