Job Summary
Oversee and develop Automated Systems & Facilities in a distribution center, managing PMs and unplanned maintenance for ASRS, STV, AGV, shoe sorter, conveyors, and MHE; lead staff coaching, safety training, and performance reviews; manage vendor/contractor relationships for repairs and parts; maintain building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting) and monitor utilities; ensure safety compliance, manage budgets and capital projects, generate maintenance and cost-reduction reports, and provide leadership across automation and facilities operations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Mechanical or Electrical Education program or an associate degree in mechanical or electrical technology is preferred.
- Proficiency in Autodesk and CAD programs.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with Photo Eye, PLC, Pneumatic controls, Motor Controller panels, automation technician functions; extra experience in Battery Operations, Forklift Operations, Maintenance Inventory Control preferred.
- 1-2 years direct experience with automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Robotic Arms.
- Knowledge and experience with Variable Speed Frequency Drives (VFD).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
