Automated Panel Bender Operator

Job Summary
Operate and program automated panel bending machinery: read blueprints and job orders to determine specifications, set up machines to control speed, material feed, and path, adjust stops or guides to specified lengths, and monitor production for quality. Instruct Level 1 operators in machine set-up and operation; perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling/cleaning; record production data (pressures, stroke lengths, speeds, feed rates); extract jammed pieces; remove burrs and clean workpieces; and notify supervisors when service is required. Requires attention to safety, quality control, and the ability to work with tools and documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of experience in programming and working in a manufacturing environment
- Training in general safety, awareness and quality system awareness
