Job Summary
Maintain, clean, lubricate, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment, including conveyor systems, sortation systems, and motors. Adjust scanners, cameras, and printer applicators; reset, repair, or replace adjustable and wearing components. Operate handheld devices or desktop PCs to build and close work orders with labor hours, downtime, and parts data. Assist with basic electronics and programmable logic controls troubleshooting while following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment. This role requires standing or walking for up to 10-12 hours and climbing ladders safely. Required Qualifications
- PC proficiency and ability to use handheld devices
- Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring
- Experience in work order management, preventive/predictive maintenance procedures, Industrial Controls and Electronics, troubleshoot basic Input/Output functions
- Basic blueprint and schematic reading and metal fabrication and welding
- Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Desired Qualifications
- Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field, and/or 3-5 years hands on previous experience in related field
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
- Experience with MHE safety standards
