Job Summary
Autodesk Civil 3D Designer responsible for serving as an in-house Civil 3D designer, assisting other disciplines with drafting, following drafting standards, producing technical drawings and plan sets, and performing day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision. The role supports Civil Engineer and other disciplines across a variety of design projects, with the option to work remotely or at the Columbia, MO office. Key skills include Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D, ability to learn Revit for MEP/Structural/Architectural work, multi-project coordination, attention to detail, teamwork, mentoring teammates, and a minimum of 3 years of Civil 3D experience. Education path includes an Associate’s in Drafting Design Technology or Civil Engineering Technology (Bachelor’s preferred), and a focus on drafting design technology and civil engineering principles.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Drafting Design Technology or Civil Engineering Technology (preferred Bachelors in Engineering Design Technology)
- At least 3 years of experience using Autodesk Civil 3D
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Revit to support MEP, Structural, and Architectural
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects across disciplines
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Willingness to mentor other team members
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience drafting and producing plan sets and technical drawings
- Experience supporting civil infrastructure projects
