Job Summary
Autodesk Automation Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions across Autodesk platforms (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Forma ACC). Develop custom plug-ins, APIs, and tools; design automation workflows to streamline BIM, engineering, and design processes; integrate Autodesk platforms with enterprise systems using APIs, .NET, and databases; build scalable solutions in C#, Python, and .NET; collaborate with BIM, engineering, and IT teams; maintain data exchange between BIM models, databases, and external applications; troubleshoot and optimize tools; create technical documentation and training materials; stay current with Autodesk technologies and digital construction trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
- 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering automation, BIM development, or software development within AEC/EPC industry
- Strong experience in developing plug-ins using Autodesk Revit API, Navisworks API, Autodesk Forma (ACC) APIs
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and cloud-based collaboration workflows
- Proficiency in C#, Python, and .NET frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SQL / PL SQL for database integration
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, AEC and EPC project lifecycle processes
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage priorities under deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
