AutoCAD Engineer (BMS)

Job Summary
Prepare detailed BMS design and engineering drawings using AutoCAD, including control schematics, wiring diagrams, network layouts, and panel layouts. Develop shop drawings, installation drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation while reviewing architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC drawings for proper coordination. Coordinate with BMS engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes, maintain drawing revision records, and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Support material take-offs and conduct quality checks before submission. Requires 2–4 years of AutoCAD drafting experience with BMS, HVAC, or MEP exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting
- exposure to BMS, HVAC, MEP, or building automation projects
- Strong AutoCAD drafting and technical drawing skills
- Good knowledge of BMS and HVAC control systems
- Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple drawings and project priorities simultaneously
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong document control and revision management skills
