Job Summary
AutocAD Electrical & Mechanical System Designer needed for an in-office, on-site role in Houston, TX to design offshore rig housing structures. Responsibilities include handling the design package, providing redlines for corrections, and converting designs into submittal drawings. Requires 5+ years of electrical and mechanical design experience, proficiency with CAD and Indenture Software, and ability to deliver comprehensive drawings. Project duration is 1-2 months with potential to transition to temp-to-hire; schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm in-office. Background and drug screening are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in both electrical and mechanical design
- Experience with CAD, Indenture Software
- Must pass background and drug screen
- In-office, on-site position
- Project duration of 1-2 months with potential temp-to-hire
- In-office schedule M-F 7am-4pm
- Location: Houston, TX 77073 (near IAH)
- Pay: $45-$55/hour DOE
