Job Summary
Coordinate with General Contractors and subs to gather information for designing commercial fire sprinkler systems in tenant improvement and new construction projects. Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD, generate material listings, and perform hydraulic calculations. Work with internal departments to handover job information and maintain organized records for submittals, change orders, and permits. Requires minimum three years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer, proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Career Position in Design and Project Management for Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems in Commercial Tenant Improvement/New Construction Projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting functions
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with Bluebeam
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
- Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
