Job Summary
Paint vehicles to specified color and finish following repair orders; maintain up-to-date knowledge of painting techniques and safety requirements; prepare and condition surfaces, mask and cover areas not to be painted, mix and thin paints according to color charts, and apply primer, protective, decorative, or finish coatings with proper equipment within established timeframes; operate lifting and moving devices to access areas and ensure cleanliness and safety; comply with company and legal requirements for vehicle repairs and deliver quality painting results; possess a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background/drug screening; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Education and/or experience in paint repair
- A high school diploma or the equivalent
- Understanding and compliance with safety rules and practices as well as posted work rules and procedures
- Positive outlook with a high-energy personality
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to exercise good judgment and critical thinking
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
