Job Summary
Diagnose, test, and repair vehicles using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals. Perform work across automobile, medium/heavy truck, school bus, and transit bus sectors. Utilize appropriate hand tools and top-quality technology to deliver outstanding customer service. Maintain a valid driver's license and complete required medical exams and driving tests. Work independently with little supervision while adhering to a guaranteed 40-hour weekly schedule. Lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently, including kneeling, squatting, and crawling. Report to the Service Manager within the team.
Required Qualifications
- diagnose, test, and repair vehicles
- understanding of using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals
- experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus
- work experience in an automotive / Truck / Fleet service
- Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License for vehicle classes working on
- Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- great attitude and work ethic
- Be on time every day
- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- ability to maintain a valid driver's license, which includes successfully completing Medical Exam, Driving Test, and all other license requirements
- good manual dexterity
