Job Summary
Change oil and oil filters, check fluids and air filters, and install batteries while checking charging systems. Mount and balance tires, perform wheel alignments, and replace bulbs or wipers as needed. Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust components to specifications. Road test vehicles to ensure services meet customer needs and complete courtesy checks. Inform store management of equipment mechanical repair problems. Continuously learn new technical information through formal training sessions to stay abreast of changing automotive technology.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- A minimum of 18 years old
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a customer-focused role in an auto service/mechanical setting
