Job Summary
Entry-level Auto Service Technician position performing basic automotive maintenance including oil changes, oil/filter checks, fluid/air filter checks, battery installation and charging-system checks, bulb/wiper replacement, road testing, tire mounting/balancing, wheel alignment checks, and complete vehicle courtesy checks. Responsibilities also include diagnosing and repairing to specifications for brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust, installing parts (shocks, struts, accessories), informing management of mechanical repair problems, and continuously learning new technical information through formal training sessions to stay current with automotive technology. Emphasis on customer-first attitude and a flexible schedule, with opportunities in tire service and alignment duties and ongoing vehicle inspections.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Previous experience in a customer-focused role in an auto service/mechanical setting preferred
