Job Summary
Auto Service Technician role performing entry-level automotive tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle courtesy checks. Responsibilities include changing oil and oil filters, checking fluids and air filters, installing batteries, checking charging systems, bulbs and wipers, road testing vehicles, tire mounting/balancing, wheel alignment checks, installing parts (shocks, struts, accessories), diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust to specifications, and communicating equipment issues to management. Emphasis on continuous learning through formal trainings to stay current with automotive technology. Customer-focused service mindset and ability to work a varied schedule are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Minimum 18 years old
- Valid drivers license
- Previous experience in a customer-focused auto service/mechanical setting preferred
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
