Job Summary
Greet customers, assess vehicle concerns, and record service needs while recommending maintenance based on manufacturer specifications. Prepare detailed repair orders with labor and parts estimates for customer approval, then communicate inspection results and corrective actions. Provide updates on repair progress, explain costs, and secure authorization for additional work. Schedule service appointments to ensure an efficient process and coordinate with technicians to meet promised timeframes. Maintain high satisfaction standards by addressing concerns promptly and implementing quality control processes to minimize errors. Requires 2+ years of service advising or sales experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a Saturday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years prior Service Advising, Car Sales or Commissioned Sales experience
- Valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- Ability to work a Saturday rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Service Advisor experience in an Auto or RV Dealership
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Technically savvy, easily able to learn software systems required
