Job Summary
Auto Service Advisor responsibilities include working with customers to identify vehicle service needs, verifying warranty coverage, developing estimates, creating repair orders, promoting automotive products and Fleet Farm programs, and delivering high-quality customer service. The role involves answering phones, scheduling service appointments, maintaining knowledge of tires/parts/accessories,upselling services, calculating material and labor costs, handling customer questions, assisting with events/promotions, and ensuring services meet customer needs. Requires strong customer service, communication, and sales skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a flexible schedule; prior experience in a customer-focused or auto service environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in a customer-focused role
- Previous experience in an auto service/mechanical setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
