Auto Service Advisor

Job Summary
Answer phones promptly, make overhead PA announcements for service specials, and schedule service appointments for customers. Establish knowledge of Fleet Farm's tire, parts, and accessory lines while promoting products that meet customer needs. Develop service estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, then calculate customer payments. Occasionally perform basic maintenance duties such as changing oil, checking fluids, and installing batteries. Assist customers with questions and issues, verify warranty coverage, create repair orders, and ensure all services meet quality standards. Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 16 years of age with a valid driver's license
- Previous experience in a customer-focused role
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in an auto service/mechanical setting
- Demonstrated ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
